Los Angeles Series: Vegan Resturants

Los Angeles is huge, it's a City and a County at the same time. It's place without season but that's why were called the City of Lost Angels after all. People say there is nothing to do in LA but eat and shop and I've heard this a lot lately. Which is weird because I've been living hear since birth and everyday I learn there is something going all over the county. It takes ten year to become Angelino and ten more years find out about the overwhelming things to do in LA. And people vacationing here and only go to Disneyland for a trillionth time just an FYI we other fun and kid friendly places like Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm, and Raging Waters. Were not a desert, we just the Mediterranean climate which is characterized by warm to hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters (but were in a drought right now), also this is where warm and cool water meet so also it's categories as subtropical weather. But yeah the air quality is bad because were surrounded by mountains, the people to car ratio, and the others people seem to forget we have industries specifically, Oil Refiners, which I pass by three/five on my way to work, Port of Los Angeles, and Aerospace. Anyways, LAWEEKLY is probably the best way to find out what going on in LA and should be your best friend if your knew to these parts. A bit of topic but I love bowling but what happen to the roller skating rinks because I totally miss going skating. This going is to be series since I'm in school again and might not have time to write for you guys as much, so here are the Top Vegan places in LA.

1.) Shojin
333 S. Alameda St., # 310, Los Angeles;
(213) 617-0305.

I've been here before which is a great place to bring that special someone or a love one. With it's  sultry atmosphere and low lighting that will really set the mood for the evening and you wouldn't expect it to be in bustling plaza-mall.Service is what you would expect from 5 star restaurant except it's vegan with a modern Asian twist called the art of yoshoku.

Lip Swatches and Review for S/S 2015 [Maybeline Color Sensational Lipsticks]

Hey Guys,
Here is a another round of swathes from the Maybeline Color Sensational Lipsticks. This time I went for plums, berries, and pinks that I talked about in my other post about Far Out: 2015 Spring Summer Fashion Trends, so go check it out. Sadly, I forgot to take flash this time but if you want to check out my other post here is a link. One thing I wasn't expecting on camera is that Fuschia Fever and Brazen Berry look so similar but there hues have more pink/purple than the other. I was going to  buy a different Fuschia but it was mashed or looked used and I thought it might not be right for my skin tone so I found another shade of Fuschia. But if I do find one that look descent I'll get it next time. When I put on one of lipsticks I thought of Nicki Minja's Viva Glam lipsticks even though their more pinky colors than these. And just like my last review of the lipsticks, lip linear is a must especially for the lighter colors. Okay on with the swatches...

Update and Birthday!?!

Since my birthday is coming up (in just a few days), My high school best friend asked me, "What do I want for my birthday?" I said, "Software" lol. She said, "That's All?" You see I need more software for more editing more than just photos or designing mock ups. Actually,  I wasn't really thinking about what I wanted just what I needed to further my career in design wise plus, I signed up for spring design classes before transferring. But the question still remains what do I want for my birthday? I thought about it and almost all stuff I wanted I had received. But I know want to cosplay Super Sonico, I want to lose weight which I'm already working on. I want buy some Korean products specifically moisturizer or an all-in-1 for my very dry winter skin. I want my favorite contacts again because feel like a civilian with the ones that I bought for this year lol, I just want to freak people out. I guess I just want be a new me, an evolution.

. . .A few days later (French voice)

I got the day off for birthday, technically three. So here is my unplanned/planned birthday

The day before my birthday...

1) Go to the nail salon and get my feet and nail and eye brows done because actually don't do those things a lot.

2) Go to a Korean Spa for the very first time, plus there no spa/sauna at my gym, so I thought that it would be cool and I hear the exfoliation massages are good.(And I watching a K-show called Hello Stranger which more or less made me want to go, plus it doesn't help that I watch K-dramas)
3) Go to a Japanese Plaza where I can get a j-magazine/cosmetics/kawaii accessories. (You know how Asian who come over to the States they get really fascinated with American Super Markets well it's just the same for me when I go to Asian market like Mitsuwa/Nijiya lol.)

Birthday Day

1) Go to the mall and head up the Ulta (Maybeline lipsticks) and Sephora for my in store gifts.

2) Head over to Little Tokyo to window shop and there is a Tune in Tokyo event later that night so I might hit that up.

I don't know if guys know but J-rock band Scandal is coming to town, they'll be in LA Area in May, so get your tickets I posted a link on my twitter. I'm still thinking about getting a ticket to Kamijo 20th Anniversary. (Off topic a little: I hope people stop trolling J-pop groups, that why I wrote a post on J-pop vs K-pop because I'm tired of seeing it, and just to add that Japan is making efforts especially know than ever because of 20/20 Olympics, People Just Keep Calm and Listen to Amazing Music.)

Oh I finally got all my Christmas stuff that I bought I'll do a haul for both my Christmas and birthday gifts. If you guys have any suggestions of what to buy please leave me comment or tweet me or instagram me @ash2theb.
